Easter Eggs

This is what we did this afternoon.
After all, it is Easter and therefore you must decorate eggs. The boys had sooooo much fun. We had purchased the "tie dye" kit. but as you can tell....more ended up a solid color than tie dyed. Tie dying took more patience than Chi Chi and Dew had.
I love watching their creativity. This is right up Dew's alley. He LOVES to make things. Unfortunately, he has a mom who doesn't know the meaning of the word creativity. It was a little more than I bargained for. A little advice, always read the directions before purchasing the egg dying kit. Each egg needed to be rolled up in this little piece of cloth which needed to be damp and thoroughly rinsed after each "dye". Then the wrapped egg needed to be placed in this plastic contraption. And finally you injected the dye through these little holes. It's understandable why the boys gave up after two eggs and just plopped them in the cups and went the solid color route. We did end up with some pretty cool eggs and it was a great way to spend an afternoon!
Wishing each of you a very blessed Easter!
